SIVESHNA SIVANNAH PADAYACHEE
Siveshna, best known as Sivannah has over 21 years’ of experience in the law profession. She obtained a B.PROC degree in 1998, followed by her LLB degree (post graduate) in 1999. After serving two years Articles of Clerkship in Durban and qualifying as an Attorney in 2001, she practiced in two other law firms as a professional assistant before joining Lomas-Walker Attorneys in 2004.
In March 2007, Sivannah was appointed an equity partner and after the passing of Alastair, took over the practice as the sole proprietor and entrepreneur of Lomas-Walker Attorneys.
Sivannah has been practising in the areas of litigation, property and insolvency law, family law and insurance matters for the past 21 years.
Sivannah is a specialist in sectional title law and Community Schemes litigation and advice, having completed the Sectional Title Management course via University of Cape Town in conjunction with Paddock’s learning and the Home Owner’s Association Management course via Paddocks.
Sivannah knows all too well, that an integral part of being a good lawyer requires constant and continued personal self- development and that is why she has also furthered her studies by completing two accredited postgraduate courses in Business Rescue and Corporate Law developed by the UNISA Centre for Business law as well as regularly attends various seminars on current or new legislation which in turn provides competent representation to clients.
In addition, Sivannah is an accredited mediator having completed a Commercial and Court-aligned Mediation training via the University of Cape Town.
Sivannah is thus able to offer mediation services, as a mediator, in both commercial, property and family law contexts.

Sivannah has written articles relevant to the Sectional Title Industry and Insolvency law and conducted numerous seminars on court litigation for clients and delivered presentations on Debt Collection and property law.
With Sivannah’s years of litigation and property law experience, she offers clients smart advice to ensure clients are aware of the inherent risks of litigation coupled with solutions that make commercial sense.
Sivannah loves family time, travelling, cooking, and her dogs and is a keen photographer and wine enthusiast.

KIM’OSHA MAHADEOPERSAD
Kim’osha graduated with her LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu – Natal in 2017 and is an admitted Legal Practitioner (attorney) of the High Court of South Africa.
Prior to joining Lomas-Walker Attorneys, Kim’osha served two years Articles of Clerkship in Durban and qualified as a Legal Practitioner (attorney) in 2019. She has practiced in two other law firms as a Junior Associate.
Kim’osha’s practice areas focus on:
- High Court and Magistrate’s Court Civil litigation
- Family Law
- Deceased Estates
- Corporate and Commercial Law
Kim’osha has a drive for solving complex legal problems and is passionate about philosophy and the possibility that there is always a way to get past any challenge by working systematically.
